EARLY in 2022, BRUNNER installed and handed-over a great NOVASIM MR | DA-42 Flight Simulator to Lufthansa Aviation Training at their Zürich-Airport based training center. After a first year of positive experience and significant increase in training capabilities, LAT and BRUNNER created an impressive capability video. Enjoy !

TWIN-ENGINE

NOVASIM MR | DA-42 replicates the twin-engine Diamond DA42 aircraft and is equipped with FlightSafety International’s Mixed-Reality Flight technology integrating its VITAL 1150 level-D image generator. While wearing a VAJO XR-3 ‘Focal Edition’ Mixed-Reality headset, the pilot interacts with real cockpit avionics and controls. The MR technology seamlessly merges the real cockpit and the virtual 360-degree outside view in the headset to give the pilot full immersion, with no limits on the field of view as it is normal within traditional flight simulators.

In ‘Focal Edition’, the XR-3 headset allows to see all elements close to the pilots eyes in proper focus, enabling to read and handle checklists or the Electronic Flight Bag without any limitation.
